Bible Study is the cornerstone of our faith as it provides the basis for our prayer life and our community life at The Orchard. Set aside at least 30 minutes each day to spend time with God: reading your Bible or devotional guide, and praying. It is sometimes helpful to utilize the S.O.A.P process when studing scripture.
S.O.A.P process – utilizing a journal or notebook and a Bible reading plan, select some passages to read. ”Read with an open heart and Jesus will grive you words of encouragement, direction and correction“. 2 Tim. 3:16. In your journal,

This is one of our greatest challenges, but most valuable tools for our Christian walk: to have the Word of God written on our hearts. These ‘Verses To Remember‘ from Rick Warren’s “40 Days of Purpose” are a good place to start, especially if you have studied “The Purpose Driven Life”.
